DIY beauty gift recipes for the holidays!

What says I love you more than creating a special gift for someone you love? If you missed our DIY beauty segment on Studio 512, here are our fun DIY recipes to get you through the holidays without breaking the bank!
Body/Lip Sugar Scrub:
Mix 1 part Coconut Oil with 2 parts Organic Sugar and Flavor (optional) & pour in secure jar.
Example:
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 10 drops of vanilla essential oil (optional)
Perfume:
Mix 80% Vodka or Everclear with 20% essential oil or fragrance blend of choice and pour in a roller ball applicator for easy application.
Relaxing Body Soak:
Mix up to 1% of your favorite essential oil with epson salt and place in a secure jar. Recommended Use: 1-4 tablespoons per bath.
Tinted Lip Balm:
Mix a small amount of your favorite lip stick with chapstick and place in a sample size round jar.
Natural Bug Spray:
Mix 1/2 cup coconut with one teaspoon of citronella, peppermint, lemongrass, cedar wood and geranium blend and pour in spray bottle (or bottle of choice).
